Five Steps to Excellence in Corporate Governance
We believe that good corporate governance is the cornerstone of sustainable growth. To this end, we have developed an effective five-step process designed to foster trust among all stakeholders.
Our Leadership in Driving Sustainability
With the vision and commitment of Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, sustainability has long been a core priority and a driving force within the Group. He initiated the establishment of the Sustainability Committee to elevate governance and integrate sustainable development into business strategy. Mr. Suphachai himself serves as Chairman of the Committee, reflecting his determination to ensure that sustainability is embedded at the highest level of decision-making. His leadership has been instrumental in setting clear sustainability ambitions and translating them into tangible progress.
To further strengthen this commitment, Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyuth has been appointed as Chief Sustainability and Strategy Development Officer. In this role, he plays a pivotal part in overseeing the Group’s sustainability management and driving actions to achieve its long-term goals.
Accountability and Performance Measurement
The Committee is responsible for setting policies, defining targets, and monitoring performance on sustainability matters across the Group. To reinforce accountability, sustainability performance is incorporated into the evaluation and compensation of senior executives. This ensures that leaders are not only committed in words but also in measurable results, driving the achievement of the Group’s 15 Sustainability Goals.
