CP AXTRA PLC. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) to continue its initiative to donate highquality surplus food from Makro and Lotus’s to wildlife. The program supports over 20,000 animals under the Department’s care nationwide, including breeding pairs, rehabilitating injured animals, and confiscated wildlife from illegal trade that cannot be released back into the wild.
This collaboration reflects the Company’s commitment to optimizing surplus food management while simultaneously enhancing food security and animal welfare. The company has delivered consumable surplus food from Makro and Lotus’s to conservation centers and zoos under the Department across the country. This approach not only addresses food waste and mitigates environmental impacts but also helps alleviate the Department’s financial burden for animal feed, ultimately supporting the sustainable conservation of Thailand’s natural resources.
