Cambridge Executive MBA Program Visits CP COE: Strengthening Ties Between Academia and Industry

Bangkok, Thailand — In a landmark visit this week, representatives from the University of Cambridge’s Executive MBA (EMBA) programme paid a visit to the CP Center of Excellence (CP COE), forging deeper collaborations and knowledge exchange between one of the world’s leading business schools and Thailand’s corporate innovation hub.

Objectives & Highlights of the Visit

  • Learning from CP COE’s operations: Observing CP COE’s approach to innovation, technology incubation, sustainability practices, and digital transformation in a real-world corporate environment.
  • Dialogue and engagement: Engaging in roundtable discussions with CP COE leadership and staff, exchanging insights on regional business strategies, emerging markets, and cross-border ventures.
  • Exploring partnership opportunities: Laying groundwork for joint projects, research collaborations, and internship / experiential learning placements for EMBA participants, particularly in Southeast Asia.
  • Showcasing local context: Allowing Cambridge participants to see firsthand how Thai corporate and market conditions shape innovation, regulation, and business scaling strategies.

During the visit, the Cambridge team toured CP COE’s labs and innovation units, attended presentations on CP’s local and global initiatives, and held Q&A sessions with CP’s senior executives and project teams.
