CP Group Harmonizes in Memory of the Beloved Mother of the Land

BANGKOK, 30 October 2025 Remembrance ceremonies have been held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother by Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group and its subsidiaries. Executives and employees gathered at more than 100 offices and plants across Thailand and around the world to pay their respects to Her Majesty’s royal benevolence and immeasurable compassion.

The principal ceremony at True Tower on Ratchadapisek Road, Bangkok was presided over by Mr Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman Charoen Pokphand Group, alongside the Group Chairman, Mr Soopakij Chearavanont, and its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Suphachai Chearavanont. It was marked by an atmosphere of solemnity and restraint within which a profound sense of emotional intensity was nonetheless palpable to those in attendance.

The service was broadcast live to other CP Group premises, where the solemn reverence of the occasion was replicated in ceremonies held concurrently. Through careful coordination, executives and employees from every business unit in Thailand and overseas were able to join together to offer heartfelt condolences and collectively express their profound gratitude and unwavering devotion to the revered Mother of the Land.

A heartfelt eulogy was delivered by Mr Suphachai on behalf of CP Group’s workforce of over 400,000, of which the following is an extract:

“I, together with every executive and employee of Charoen Pokphand Group and its subsidiaries, humbly recollect the royal benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who is the spiritual anchor of the Thai people and Mother of the Land, whose kindness and compassion knew no bounds.

“We at Charoen Pokphand Group always remember with deep humility that every step of our journey - entailing over 100 years of growth - has been taken beneath the gracious auspices of our revered Monarchy. As Senior Chairman Dhanin has always said, ‘Charoen Pokphand Group flourishes in the shade that the Chakri Dynasty and the Thai nation provides.’

“Portraits of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen are proudly displayed in every Charoen Pokphand Group headquarters and overseas office to demonstrate our loyalty as a Thai enterprise that was cultivated in the fertile soil of our nation.

“We offer our deepest condolences during the period of great sorrow that follows the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. As an abiding tribute to Her Majesty’s legacy, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to supporting the Royal Initiatives championed by Her Majesty. Furthermore, we pledge to continue comporting ourselves and running our businesses for the benefit of the nation.”

Mr Suphachai’s eulogy was followed by the recitation by TNN news anchor Mrs Chonticha Asavanich of an elegy composed in Her Majesty’s honor by the National Artist, Mrs Chamaiporn Saengkrajang. Translated into English, the poem reads as follows:

Every mother’s love is bountiful,

But the Mother of the Land, Crown of the Realm,

Bestows on each of us blessings without bounds.

Too brightly shines her grace to be regarded in full,

And hence we lower our gaze and let teardrops fall.

So as Her Majesty ascends to a realm celestial,

Replete in merit, serene in eternal beneficence,

We bow with hearts that brim with devotion to bid her farewell.

The assembled participation of so many staff members dispersed across dozens of locations around the world was a profound and moving act of collective remembrance, testament to the unwavering loyalty, veneration and esteem with which all in attendance cherish the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. Such reverence transcends borders, time zones and the divisional structures of a conglomerate spanning multiple industries, signifying the perennial importance of the core values to which CP Group has remained true for more than a century.
