C.P. Group Hosts “CP Supplier Forum 2025” — Joining Forces with Over 200 Suppliers to Accelerate Toward Net Zero and Strengthen the Supply Chain with Clean Energy and Digital Technology

Bangkok – 20 May 2025: Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group) and its subsidiaries hosted CP Supplier Forum 2025: For Sustainable Growth at True Digital Park, Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok. The event brought together more than 200 suppliers from various business groups including CP AXTRA, CP All, CPF, True Corporation, Chia Tai, and CPPC. This initiative is in line with the policy of Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer of C.P. Group, who places strong emphasis on building a responsible supply chain as a key mechanism for sustainable growth. He firmly believes that real transformation can only happen through systematic and continuous collaboration across the entire value chain.

Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut, Chief Sustainability and Strategy Officer of C.P. Group, stated that the supply chain is at the heart of driving tangible sustainability. In today’s world, growth that ignores environmental or human rights impacts is no longer viable. CP Supplier Forum 2025: For Sustainable Growth is held in alignment with CEO Suphachai Chearavanont’s policy, reflecting the Group's strong commitment to making the Net Zero goal a reality — through partnerships with suppliers built on shared, clearly defined objectives.

Mr. Metheera Serirajwajra, Vice President of Sustainability, Governance, and Corporate Communications at C.P. Group, explained that the Group has outlined a clear roadmap for reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the entire supply chain — from upstream to downstream. Suppliers play a critical role in this journey, working alongside the Group to move toward Net Zero. For example, the traceability of corn sourcing must ensure it is not linked to forest burning. Likewise, all products made available in the market must be low-carbon footprint products, such as low-carbon rice. C.P. Group and its subsidiaries are committed to supporting the development of environmentally friendly products and packaging for suppliers.
In parallel, the Group has launched a digital platform for data collection, designed to track carbon emissions and generate transparent, accurate reports — which can also be submitted to government agencies. Training sessions will be offered to suppliers, along with one-on-one mentoring in the development of green products. These efforts are intended to help suppliers keep pace with global trends and evolving trade requirements. C.P. Group and its companies stand ready to partner with suppliers in setting joint greenhouse gas reduction targets — so that all businesses can grow sustainably together.

Mr. Alexandru Popa, Associate Director of Sustainability Business at Schneider Electric, a global expert in energy management and automation, emphasized that the path toward Net Zero requires a three-step strategic plan: Plan, Digitize, Decarbonize. He also stressed the importance of using digital technology to enhance energy efficiency and systematically promote renewable energy across the supply chain.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jakkrit Sivapornsatean from Altervim Company Limited presented solutions for helping suppliers reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, including solar rooftops, floating solar systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and high-efficiency motors — all of which can accelerate progress toward Net Zero in a practical and measurable way.

It became evident throughout the forum that CP’s partner suppliers share a common vision for Net Zero. Nestlé (Thailand) Ltd., represented by Ms. Woraveeporn Amornlertpisal, stated, “Our partnership with C.P. Group has helped clarify Nestlé’s Net Zero goal. We move forward on four pillars: sustainable sourcing, water, packaging, and carbon reduction. Strengthening the supply chain is key to true sustainability.” Similarly, Mr. Sasin Vitoorapakorn from Eastern Polypack Co., Ltd. noted, “The CP Supplier Forum 2025 provided clear knowledge on both carbon data platforms and clean energy use — tools that are valuable for sustainable business development.”

The event also featured experts from within C.P. Group who shared insights to help suppliers align their operations with sustainability goals. Topics included responsible supply chain management, presented by Ms. Daoruedee Saengjuiwong, Deputy Director of Group Sustainability, and supplier carbon support strategies by Mr. Pairit Sukkerd, Assistant Director of Group Sustainability Development. Additionally, the forum explored human rights in the supply chain, led by Dr. Khwanruethai Siripatankosol, Assistant Managing Director, and Mr. Nitipat Nantavoropas, Manager of the Group’s International Sustainability Cooperation and Corporate Communications. Together, they reinforced the importance of embedding human rights into the Group’s sustainable business practices.

Group affiliates such as CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, CP All Public Company Limited, True Corporation Public Company Limited, Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited, Chia Tai Company Limited, Phantavanich Company Limited, CPPC Public Company Limited, Perfect Companion Group Company Limited, CP Future City Development Corporation Company Limited, the Integrated Plant Business Group, Rice, Logistics and Services Group, Agri-industrial Business Group, Advanced Pharma Company Limited, CP Land Public Company Limited, Altervim Company Limited, and the All Now Group.
