Bag for life

Lotus's has developed "Bag for Life", a thick & reusable bag where customers can exchange damaged bags for a new one free of charge at all stores. Returned bags will be recycled into new bags in a closed-loop recycling system.

Meanwhile, Thai SMEs and farmers livelihoods were significantly impacted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the project called “ถุงคืนชีพ สร้างอาชีพ” (Bag for life, build a career) was initiated through the collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. In this project, sales made from “Bag of Life” are given to people whose careers and livelihoods were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as start-up capital to “build a career”. Each of the 77 individuals were granted 30,000 baht (totaling of 2,310,000 baht) to purchase equipments and ingredients to kick-start the occupation.
