CP's 'Train the Trainer' Program to Drive New 'No Deforestation,' 'Zero Accident' Policies

Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group) is advancing its sustainability agenda, recently organizing a "Train the Trainer" program for nearly 500 of its global representatives. This key initiative, undertaken with the group's Corporate Governance Department, Compliance and Sustainable Development Office, is set to drive the implementation of two new policies announced on May 2, 2025: the "No Deforestation Policy" and the " Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment Policy and Guidelines”.
The training commenced on May 21, 2025, with 185 representatives from Thailand, China, Myanmar, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Pakistan focusing on the "No Deforestation Policy." This intensive session detailed environmentally friendly business practices and raw material traceability methods crucial for protecting forests and biodiversity.
The training program continued on May 23, 2025, with an additional 283 global representatives focusing on the " Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment Policy and Guidelines." This important session aimed to establish a strong safety management system, ensure that employees can work with confidence and security, and foster a comprehensive safety culture throughout the organization.
These trained personnel are now responsible for tailoring the acquired knowledge and practices to their specific business units and disseminating this vital information to colleagues across all groups. The overarching goal is to ensure that every employee, company-wide, understands and correctly implements these new policies.
Ultimately, this initiative is designed to achieve C.P. Group's key sustainability goals: "No Gross Deforestation" and "free from work related fatalities and lost time injuries Zero Fatalities and Lost-Time Injuries," as the conglomerate works towards a more sustainable operational future.
