Charoen Pokphand Foods wins three awards at Corporate Governance Asia’s 8th Asian Excellence Awards 2018

Charoen Pokphand Group is pleased to announce that its subsidiary company Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF) received three regional awards at the 8th Asian Excellence Awards organized by Corporate Governance Asia, a leading corporate governance journal based in Hong Kong. The accolades reaffirm the Company’s dedication to promoting good corporate governance and investor relations.

The 8th Asian Excellence Award ceremony was held in Hong Kong on 8 June 2018. CPF Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, was awarded “Asia’s Best CEO (Investor Relations),” and CPF’s CFO, Mr. Paisan Chirakitcharern, was awarded “Asia’s Best CFO”. CPF was awarded the “Best Investor Relations Company (Thailand)”.  

The awards reflect the confidence of CPF’s shareholders and stakeholders both domestic and abroad, and are a recognition of the Company’s merits in corporate governance, sustainable growth and dedication to the community and environment. Corporate Governance Asia introduced the Asian Excellence Awards in 2011 to recognize outstanding performances in categories such as investor communications, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and financial performance. The best executives and companies in Asia are selected through appraisals made by regional investors and the magazine’s readers.
